Carihi theatre department has a reputation for amazing shows that delight audiences but sadly, the fire at Carihi Secondary earlier this year forced the cancellation of their planned spring musical. However, in its place Carihi Musical Theatre will be presenting From The Smoke To The Spotlight, a musical showcase to raise funds towards next year's show and to help replace some of the costumes, sets, props, lighting and sound equipment lost in the fire.

Carihi Musical Theatre students will be performing many songs from well-known, well-loved shows... some they've done before, some they hope to do some day. It is sure to delight audiences.

From The Smoke To The Spotlight is on April 15 at 7 p.m. and is being generously hosted by the Tidemark Theatre. Tickets are $20 (+ applicable taxes and fees). Purchase online through the link attached.

🚍❤️ A heartfelt thank-you, served fresh! For the past three and a half months, our #CRSD72 bus drivers have been going the extra mile—literally—transporting Carihi students to and from Oyster River while repairs continued at Carihi after the fire. To show their appreciation on the last day of classes at Oyster River, students in Carihi’s Culinary Arts program whipped up a delicious lunch and hand-delivered it to our dedicated drivers yesterday. 🍽️✨ A big shoutout to our bus drivers for their patience, kindness, and commitment to getting students to and from school safely each day. This meal is just a small token of Carihi's gratitude! 🙌 #ThankYouBusDrivers #CarihiCulinary #GratitudeInAction
