Police Activity Near EDM June 5, 2026 - Resolved

The police presence near EDM has been lifted. Vehicle traffic is resuming as normal and EDM bus students are being transported from École Phoenix Middle School. School activities are operating as normal.

There is a police incident near EDM this morning, Friday, June 5, 2026. Traffic access to the school may be restricted.

Police are responding to a concern in the community; it does not have anything to do with the school.

Student safety is our priority. Buses serving the school will continue their routes and keep students on board longer. EDM bus students are being held at École Phoenix Middle School under staff supervision until the police presence is lifted.

Parents and caregivers do not need to take any action at this time, but be aware that this may also impede personal vehicle traffic to and from the school for drop off. We will provide an update if there are any changes.
